November 16, 2017; Back to basics. Often a simpler phrase to express then to accomplish. In our case, we are truly going back to the basics.
For those who do not know, a high-ranking member recently left our family. This member brought several issues to our attention and quite handedly validated much of their points. In working towards all our greater goals, we lost focus in our core objectives, we increasingly became used to short turn arounds and loose deadlines. We as a community began to fail you. This cost us a deeply valued member and our goal here is to make sure that this incident does not happen again. We implored this member to stay with us and correct the shortcomings but they have chosen to leave. We wish them nothing but success in their future endeavors.
Sadly, we are closing our Sponsor Direct program. To all the applicants who applied and all of those who interviewed, we are truly sorry. You are more than welcome to become a part of our community and produce content. This step is to return us to our core values and focus solely on goals. The program itself may return one day and on that day, it will be more refined.
With our return to basics, we hope to bring our community and fans more content through streaming and video productions. If we take a hard look at our content output as of late we would be hard pressed to call ourselves a media company.
Additionally, one of those core values we want to return to is engaging with our community. Creating and crafting our community is incredibly important to us as your support helps us to continue to grow, expand and offer awesome opportunities. The community can expect to see more broadcasts brought to you by the eM family in the future and we hope you will join us.
While the events of the past few days have been jarring to say the least, we are unwavering in our efforts to make eM the best place for community and content creation. The first step in solving a problem is recognizing that there is one, we have acknowledged our faults. Join us, it’s time for us to get back in there, going back to basics and hit that #StillGrindin moto harder.
